Trip Report

I know that each person's individual experience on a specific mountain on any particular day will differ, possibly influenced by weather, exposure, conditioning, getting off-route and so on.

Now that I have climbed all of the peaks that make up the "short list" of the hardest Colorado fourteeners, I can cast my vote.

For me, the hardest peaks, in order, are:

  1. Little Bear
  2. Capitol
  3. Mt. Wilson and Pyramid
